Escape into the Endless Mountains
As strange as it may seem, CampTown Pennsylvania does not have a Camp Ground. When the opportunity presented itself, Bret and Angie Billings took the opportunity to start one. The Husband and Wife duo both share a love for the outdoors and enjoy nights out in their own camper. With these things in mind, the property was purchased in 2022. There has been no shortage of work that has been done to turn a simple piece of property to a camping oasis by the creek. With hearts fully invested in sharing their love of camping, Doo Dah Campgrounds will have its sites open in time for the 2024 season.
You may however ask why Doo Dah Campgrounds? When a lad by the name of Stephen Foster made a trip through CampTown, he then after wrote a song many have come to know and sing by heart, Camptown Races. In the song is the memorable Doo-Dah at the end of each line. You may already find yourself humming the song in your head. With such an opportunity at hand, Bret and Angie decided to name their Campground in CampTown, Doo Dah Campgrounds.
